Maggie’s Bright Side Mission
The mission of Maggie’s Bright Side is to build a supportive community for those impacted by cancer and terminal illness through generating awareness, increasing access to resources and promoting positive and honest living. Our goal is to bring services to those affected free of charge and to offer a bit of sunshine when the clouds roll in.
What is the opportunity with Maggie’s Bright Side Cancer Cards?
Local businesses will have the opportunity of being a partner to The Bright Side Cancer Card. They will have the opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of someone who has been knocked down by a cancer diagnosis. Local business will afford applicants discounts to things people want and need during a cancer journey. By participating in the program, businesses will be able to lift applicants spirits, make them feel good about themselves and even improve their overall health!
Who is Maggie?
I am a mother, a wife, a social worker and love to look on the bright side. Imagine my surprise on September 29th, 2015 when I was forced to add Stage IV Breast Cancer Survivor to my list of descriptors. Follow me while I muddle through the highs and low of treatment, parenting and life in general.
